Bobby resting atop One Fifth Avenue – October 31st, 2014 A fellow Hawk-watcher saw one of the Washington Square Park Red-tailed Hawks in the park about an hour before I arrived. My same friend alerted me to another raptor seated a block south of the park. It looked like a Cooper’s Hawk:
Sadie’s acrobatics, babies explore the nest ledge – May 21st, 2019 Sadie battled heavy wind gusts and the baby Hawks explored the ledge. Butterflies and bees are out in force.
Red-tailed and Cooper’s Hawks in action – February 21st, 2019 There were good Hawk sightings in two parks today. A Cooper’s Hawk enjoyed Washington Square Park while Sadie perched outside Union Square Park.
